Thur Jan 1

New years day, we spent at home. Willies family also mother and Annie here. I went to New years concert.

Fri Jan 2.

Fine but very cold and windy.

Sat Jan 3.

A fall of light snow then very cold. I went to our social and Christmas tree.

Sun Jan 4.

Very, very cold. 8 below zero. I went to morning also Aunt Mattie and I at evening church.

Mon Jan 5.

Fine and still cold 4 below zero we washed. Mrs Pearce Robinson called.

Tue Jan 6.

Milder and fine until it came a little snow eve.

Fine after a little snow. Mrs Gruhish here.

Fine, moderately cold, good walking. I went to Willies for a little while in afternoon.

Fine bright but very cold. 8 below zero. I went to Mr Reamans for Pumpkins, in the eve. Hockey Match.

Fine at first then a terrific wind and light snow. 14 below zero and about zero all day.

Sat Jan 17. Fine but still cold 4 below zero. Then moderated. Aunt Mattie called at Mondays. I called at Welsh's. a light fall of snow! all sleighs out now. and bad for Auttos. side walk drifted first.

Sun Feb 15. A very stormy day drizling all day. carol stopped in the evening, no person at church. Amie called.

Sat Feb 21. Fine bright day. Aunt Mattie out in afternoon, at Rink eve.

Sun Feb 22. Fine bright day, moderately cold, I walked to Willies and he and I went to Concord church and I walked home in the afternoon walking good ideal day. Aunt M and I at eve ch.

Sun Mar 7. Fine bright day, quite cold, strong wind fortunately no snow or it would be badly drifted. David and Marion here for tea. I went to evening church. I have a bad cold and sore throat. Mr Howard organist.

Tue Mar 9. Fine and a little milder. Digging out ditch.

Wed Mar 10. Fine and much warmer. Snow going rapidly.

Thu Mar 11. Fine bright day. Water going nicely down ditch.

Fri Mar 12. Rained heavily last night. Water very high on the road until about four o'clock it all settled. I got a ride over in the morning, all right in the eve.

Sat Mar 13. Fine and extremely cold wind, all frozen rough. Snow nearly all gone and bugg is out. Willie called. Grant came to stay over night. Yard all clear of snow.

Sun Mar 14. Fine but cold. High wind. Grant went home in afternoon. I went to eve church. Snow all gone off the road except by fence it went wonderfully in about theee days and only over road for a few hours on Thursday, no ice made it better getting away.

Mon Mar 15. Fine and moderately cold. Mr Shepherd called. Put ashes on.

Wed Mar 17. Rained last night and snow much colder. Clean kitchen cardboard.

Thu Mar 18. Fine bright day, roads quite dry in some places. I went to Toronto. Streets quite dry. I called Mrs Gibsons.

Fri Mar 19. A stormy day came quite a fall then cleared. I went to final Hockey Match. Aurora and Thornhill. Latter defeated.

Sat Mar 20. Fine day cold. Snow nearly gone making it very dirty.

Sun Mar 21. Fine bright day. Aunt Nellie at morning church a couple of hens laying but not very well. I went to evening church alone. Amie here in the evening.

{Mon Mar 22. Fine bright day. Aunt M washed for cleaning. I cleaned feather bed and bureau handler. Clothes closets and Drawers. Furnace out.

Tue Mar 23. Fine and much warmer, drying nicely. Mr Jackson fried pump. Cleaned back kitchen and cupboard, drying up nicely.

Wed Mar 24. Fine and very warm. We cleaned chambers upstairs, then Mrs.D and I put sand on sidewalk out of ditch. Mary Watson called.

Thur Mar 25. Fine and warm east wind, we cleaned wood shed and put on some cinders. I went to Willies in the afternoon.

Sat Mar 27. Rained last night and much colder, but still not cold in house,

Wed Mar 31. Fine bright day, a cool east wind Aunties and I in Toronto. My sweater cost $8.50.

Fri Apr 2. Good Friday showery in the morning, then a heavy thunder storm about three. Aunt Mattie at Mothers and Amie came here for tea, too cold for cleaning.

Sat Apr 3. Fine but a terrific wind all dryed up. Mrs Dandson and I at the Royal. "too many hubsands,"

Sun Apr 4. Fine but very cold east wind, Aunt Nellie and I at church, Easter Sunday. Elizabeth and Amie called. Lighted Furnace It snowed and blowing very rough. I went to church.

Mon Apr 5. Furnace was out about ten days then we light yesterday. Sat Or Easter Monday Fine but very cold, cleaned & oiled furnace

Tue Apr 6 Fine but quite cold. We cleaned Aunt Nellies room Cleaned Silver and spare room also cleaned our carpet and had it up

Wed Apr 7. Fine but cold, cleaned our rooms halls up and down also attic rooms and windows. Came snow in the night.

Thur Apr 8. Fine and very cold, we cleaned and washed Kitchen walls Mrs Atkinson called. Willie called in the morning Came a flurry of snow.

Fri Apr 9. Fine bright and warmer. I went to Toronto called at Aunt Lizzies. let Furnace out.

Sat Apr 10. Fine and a little milder. Mrs Martins Sale. Amie here in the evening. Also Mrs Simpson brought lamb I went to the Shower at Mr Witts hirrs. Cleaned Coal Bin

Sun Apr 11. Snowing a little all day then turned to rain and milder Aunt Mattie and I at evening church.

Mon Apr 12. Drizzling and a little snow. we washed.

Tue Apr 13. Fine but cold. road very muddy. Mrs Davidson and lot Church Social in the hall.

Wed Apr 14. Dull and cold but brightened in the evening. Edith Wiltshire married. Mrs D. and I up at church.

Thur Apr 22. Fine and warm. We cleaned Cellar all done cleaning. started to rain in the evening and poured all night.

Mon June 21. Rained heavily until about two oclock then damp and misty, we did not wash. Ester Johns hurt with ear.

Tue June 22. Dull cold and squarly, we washed. first strawberry cts 25.

Wed June 23. Dull and damp. Aunt Mattie and I at the old place.

Sat Aug 7 Fine and very warm and dusty, we all went to Bond Lake also Willies and Ross.' home on the 10.25 car leaving the lake. Mrs Gibson died.

Sun Aug 8 Fine and very warm. Aunt Nellie at church. she and I went for a drive with Mr D. she and I at eve ch.

Mon Aug 9 Drizzling rain nearly all day cleared at three Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto called to see Mrs Gibsons remains. then at Aunt Lizzies to tea. took eggs she gave 65 cts. and apples.

Tue Aug 10 Fine and very warm. Tomatoes Breakiys called, from N.S

Wed Aug 11. Fine and warm. Aunt Nellie and I called Mrs Smellie gave a few Tomatoes

Thur Aug 12. Fine and warm. I called to see Miss Edey in eve. Mrs Clarke and Mrs {illegible surname}

Fri Aug 13 Fine and warm. Mother and Amie came home

Sat Aug 14 Dull and damp a few sprinkles. Ethel Hardie and family here, I got a quart of honey. 80cts was 30cts a lb. weighed 2¾ lbs.

Sun Aug 15. Very warm Aunt N at church. I went for a drive with Mr Davidsons. Aunt Nellie and I at eve church.

Mon Aug 16 Fine and warm. Goat at Gattos $20 and $ 1.50,

Tue Aug 17. Fine a little cooler. I went to Toronto. Mrs Rupert and Edith here to tea. got a couple tomatoes off vines

Wed Aug 18 Fine and moderately warm. Mr Griffith died.

Thur Aug 19. Fine and warm very dusty, Elizabeth & M. up to Mothers

Fri Aug 20. Fine and moderately warm. Aunt Nellie at Mary Watsons in eve. The girls Aunt M and I at Littles

Sat Aug 21. A strong warm wind in the evening came a good heavy rain lasted a couple of hours. basket Cucumbers. N.S,

Sun Aug 22 Cleared and cold North wind. Aunt. M. Lizzie & I church

Mon Aug 23. Fine and quite cool. Elizabeth and Margaret here to tea made our Saccharine pickles. thrashing

Tue Aug 24 Fine and cool. I walked to Newtonbrook. in eve. Willie

Wed Aug 25 Fine and warmer, Aunt M. made tomato butter, I was at Mrs Boyles for dinner. the girls Agnes and I went to call at James in evening. spare room curtains

Thur Aug 26 Fine and moderately warm. We girls went to Willies

Fri Aug 27. Fine day, very dusty. Aunt Mattie and I called at Mrs Langstalls to pay for plot in eve.

Sat Aug 28 Dull east wind with a few sprinkles during day. then cleared. Aunt Mattie and I for a walk to Meth {methodist?} Cemetry

Sun Aug 29. Fine and warmer. Aunt Nellie at morning church. very warm and dusty. Wylies also Mother. Amie and Mrs Dewey here to tea. I went to evening church.

Mon Aug 30. Fine and moderately warm. we washed. I went to Toronto. got vase $ 1.10 Ryries at shower for G. Grice Picked some of our apples. Auntie got tomatoes Smellie

Tue Aug 31. Fine and moderately warm. untill eve. very cool.

Wed Sep I. A few sprinkles but no benefit so dry. very cold. N wind

Thur Sept 2. Fine bright and quite Eliz Amie and Margaret down in morning to say good- bye. Auntie and I went to Exhibition first for them for seven yrs.

Fri Sep 3. Fine very cool. I went to call Miss Edeys in eve.
