Tue May 3 rd clear and hot, we were plowing the corn ground. William {ampersand?} yohn Saw was hawling out manure parpair ing a piece of ground for corn that was Sowed with fall wheat and the wire {woruns?} eat it out. Wed May 4 th clear most of the day and warm were plowing this fore noon, after noon i went to Dresden. Thu May 5 th cloud and cool. I was wheeling out and spreading manure, Walter was plowing Fri May 6 th clear and hot, the thermomiter Reg 80 deg. in the shade, finished plowing the field for corn East of the barns Sat May 7 th clear part of the day and hot.
