Tue May 3 rd clear and hot, we were plowing the corn ground. William & John Saw was hawling out manure prepairing a piece of ground for corn that was Sowed with fall wheat and the wire worains at it out.

Wed May 4 th clear most of the day and warm were plowing this fore noon, after noon I went to Dresden.

Thu May 5 th cloud and cool. I was wheeling out and spreading manure, Walter was plowing

Fri May 6 th clear and hot, the thermomiter Reg 80 deg. in the shade, finished plowing the field for corn East of the barns

Sat May 7 th clear part of the day and hot. I was transplanting Strawberry vines. Walter was harrowing corn ground.

Mon May 9 th clear most of the day and hot, Walter finished harrowing the corn ground. I was repairing bars and gates in the fore noon afternoon pileing manure, peach plum & cherry and Cherry coming out in blossom

Tue May 10 th clear part of the day and hot we were marking out the corn ground

Wed May 11 th clear and hot, we were planting corn and potatoes

Thu May 12 th clear, hot in the middle of the day, cool morning and Evening, we were planting again to day.

Fri May 13 th clear cool, morning and evening hot in the middle of the day, we were palanting corn and washed the Sheep

Sat May 14 th clear and cool morning & evening finished planting East of the barn. the rest of the day drawing manure on the new Orchard
