12th fine day as we don't get many of them East Wind cloudy to the Southwest Leander tonight Church Fernandez off to work blackbirds tearing away at the grain

13th E Wind fine cloudy to the West commenced fine hay back at the Big Stone Heap the hay in the flat and back of the old garden and in the old Garden commenced again to rain finished the stack rain rained all night our yard is a bad mess pig pens too so much rain

14th raining study Leander went to Cornwall with the wool about pounds 11 chickens yesterday brought 2 kinds of yarn grey and white 6 lb each 2 kinds of cloth 1 lb of soda rained hard tonight Mr Hollister and son here for fish worm as they are capped on Alexis Island fixing my boat Stanley letting the water run out of the cellar of the new house

15th fine day cutting the rest of the wheat turning the wheat began cutting the oats at the ash tree Fernandez came a big vessel went up one tub of butter to Jo Douquetts and 20 Doz of Eggs Indians for butter 25 cents 9 tub sold now
