Sunday, March 26, 1922

Sunday March 26 1922
Mame & Lloyd went to church in the morning.

Mabel and Roy and [Wendy?] to churh in the morning. Roy went in to the hospital in the afternoon to see how Charlie was getting along but they wouldn't let him in as Charlie was very weak from [hemorage?] The greater part of the day was fine.
We went up to the Griffiths in the afternoon for tea. Fred Griffith was getting along but they wouldn’t let him up as Charlie was very sick from “grippe.”

Monday, March 27, 1922

Monday March 24 1922
I delivered to the Bay and round the shoreline. Dick and Queen and the King working.

I delivered to the Bay and round the townline with Dick and [Name?] and the mail waggon; [K?] delivered with the [fly?] adn the [car?] on the club [?]. When I went down to the store with the mail bag I went over to [Kinnas?] and they say they have the mail [soute?]
Lloyd delivered with the car all right and was to the Club with Alf, George, and Lloyd.

The day was  wet and the roads were bad.
The snow was melting fast and roads very bad and rough.
 
Some frost this morning early and the roads were bad.
 
 
 
Tuesday, March 28, 1922
 
I went with Lloyd in the car to Chatham and on the return took a tire off the front and saw the P.O. inspector Mr. Sprackland.
 
Then delivered the mail and fixed the spring and went by Port Lambton on the Ridge car, and Lloyd drove in and Chatham and delivered on the Club.
 
 
 
“Temperature: high 46°, low 26°”
 
“Mild all day, frost early a.m.
