I have not done much myself in the way of work but have been helping Peter Gilbert clean up some seed wheat. After we had done this we went out in search of some Deil{?} Wheat for seed. Succeeded at last in finding some at Cline's. O Lord, I look to thee for guidance still. Though the way by which thou leadest me seems dark yet I know that thou art to wise to err to good to be unkind. |

One year ago to day we were sowing wheat. To day we have been doing the same in the front field. Mr Hall, and Marsia were out <s>th</s> here this afternoon. What think ye of Christ? Is He not King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, having all power in His hands! Yet He became {underlined}our{end underline} ransom, Priest, and King, as well as our eternal portion{?}.
