Sun 20 Marjorie & the children went to church then she & Gordon went to Riexingers for dinner & tea Mrs Riex. called with the address cold east wind. The minister L Wills had his mother with him. he went in his cutter.

Fannie went to the brick rode with the minister & his mother Tom brought her home Arthur took Ethel in the buggy The minister brought the card with his photo & the 4 churches.

Mon 21. Arthur helped Harvey to cut feed in the afternoon I churned & worked the butter Marjorie sewing for Marguerite. I ironed her white apron fixing for her all day. They brought the Christmas tree to the school the teacher swept the floor. At night I finished Gordons mittens.

Teu 22. cold east wind school entertainment Marjorie & Paul went quite cold. a good entertainment, <s>they</s> for just the scholars. I cleaned the raisins for the cake & washed the currants Arthur in for awhile him & the girls went to McCredies at night. I cleaned the currants at night.

Wed 223 Entertainment at Rob Dells tonight. Tom McCredie took them Arthur went along east wind yet & cold I churned & worked the butter. Will was sick yesterday.

Thur 24. Marjorie & Reeb went to Chippewa. I was sick all the fornoon & in the afternoon I baked the cak I had it mixed the night befor Paul killed two fine roosters weighed 6 1/4 I took the insides out made the dressing for them & made a batch of currant cookies. Marjorie made the pudding. Marjorie & Reeb filled the stockings. Ethel went home & Arthur helping Riexingers to cut wood. tea 15 sugar 25 bromogumme 25 soda 5 soda  biscuits 10 tea 2. mittens 60. candy 12 mittens 60, coal oil 18 felling nails 13, butter 5 3/4

Christmas Friday 25. dull day. Fannie & Arthur went to Reavleys we roasted the two chickens eat only 1 have the other for tomorrow Marjorie steamed the pudding.

Sat. 26. Mary over to send to Chippewa sent for the mail with Hubby Riexingers cutting feed. I churned & made 3 mince pies & dressed a hen for sunday. had the roast chicken for supper mended a shirt for P and got our presents from Trumbles. Marjorie cleaned the floor, & swept the front room

Mon 14. sunshine in the fornoon. Will killed the old sow Paul shot her & John Riexinger helped. Marjorie went to Clifton took 9 lbs ½ butter & a doz & a half of eggs fresh laid. I churned & worked the butter & washed the churn. Paul carried her valise in.

Teu 15 sunshine in fornoon. After dinner Paul cleaned the cow stable & tied the calves in the horse & cows & calves were in the barnyard all day thawing & muddy. Marjorie came home. The children swept the schoolhouse.

Wed 16. thawing & muddy Marjorie took 2 lb 14 oz. of butter @ 26 & ½ doz eggs got 15 cts for them & then she took 9½ for 25 cts brown sugar 25 gran sugar 25 raisins 25 currants 3 nutmegs bottle vanilla bottle peppermint 5 bottle cinnamon lemon peel ½ doz lemons cheese & Gordons boots, candy black pepper common tall butter coller gal coal oil qt. molasses

Thur 17 Marjorie baked bread I churned Fannie Paul fitted the calf stable & some on the back of the house

Friday 18. Marjorie fixing Reebs dress I mended Pauls sock & finished mending a pair of overalls

Sat 19 Marjorie took the two gobblers to Willock they weighed 33 lbs @ 12½ pr lb $4.12 cts. took 2 lb 14 butter @ 26 & ½ doz eggs @ 15. pepper & sugar 10 molasses 12 candy 25 , staples 5. Ethel Miller came Arthur went after her Marguerite swept yesterday & dusted today & I made her a little sponge cakes I bought a new mop. I cleaned the floor with it. the wind chilly. she went in a cutter
