3 helped Ben Young at the thrashin machin 4 cut the Barley in the forenoon then cut the wheat in the orchard & drew it in it is very ripe David come home S drew in So, e of the wheat in the old Barnyard & raked up the Barley went & helped John Johnston to thrash in the afternoon there was Some rain this afternoon 6 helped Johnston to thrash till Supertime a fine day the wind South or rather South west T Fooley worked 3 days for me on Wat acount David & him cut the oats next the Buckwheat 7 drew in 1 load of wheat & cleaned up 114 bushel of wheat & 22 of Rye took it to mill to Gananoque heavy rain this afternoon Stopt all night at Mr Broughs 8 came home this morning gave Mr Cornet 3 bushel of wheat & 4 bushel of Rye rain this forenoon

• 9 the Rev Mr Auld preachd in the Schoolhouse the Revd Mr Carrol in the Curch

10 drew up 5 loads of oats & made part of a Stack fine day 11 drew 1 load of oats & finished the Stack & drew in 2 loads of Barley in the fore- noon heavy rain this afternoon 12 David & Billie hooked peas I helped Mr Cornet at his wheat a little rain in the afternoon

1866 Sept 13 I helped Mr Cornet in the forenoon drew in the rest of the Barley a fine day 14 went to Gananoque with 10 bushel of Rye & 24 bushel of oata very heavy rain got very wet David & Billie finished the peas 15 the ground so wet could do nothing at home Billie drew 3 mmall loads of gravel 30 bushel to J Shepard & 1 load of Sand for Do Grahm

17 drew 3 loads of Sand for Dan Grahm rain 18 tried to cut the Buckwheat the ground is so wet that we could do nothing
