Aug 1st gave Jack L. 500 got up at 4 O Clock took Doals job down to H{illegible} cemetry erected it got pay in full $2100 got home at half pas one have left at three O'Clock $49.25 cts got a P.O. Order for V.M. Co for $3500 cost 15 cts filled Dean letters a lettered a footstone for Doal job went to show in eve 5 cts spent 10 cts was a nice day  Took 2 Posts down to Wm Moulton to pay for them $400 not paid

2nd I left at half past six came down to Union Cem put Doak footstones in came on to Pat Kennedy had dinner gave Muriel 25 cts on to Mallorytown out by Quabin Hill to see a Mrs Hugabone she was away then down to Cherry Buel got a boat from him went ove to Wm Postas they agreed to give me a change
 
2nd I left at half past six came down to Union Cem put Doak footstones in came on to Pat Kennedy had dinner gave Muriel 25 cts on to Mallorytown out by Quabin Hill to see a Mrs Hugabone she was away then down to Cherry Buel got a boat from him went ove to Wm Postas they agreed to give me a change
