| + | Wed Aug 2. Maude Morse came on the 12.<u>02</u> car. it came a terrible storm about three o’clock. with hail while none at the Village. a terrible wind storm west of here. Mr D. in. | ||

| + | Sun Aug 6. Cool and dull. Auntie and I at church supply as Mr McDonald is away on his holidays. It started to rain heavily about three o’clock. then partly fair at church time. I went alone in the evening. rained very heavy {thro?} night. | ||

| + | Mon Aug 7. Civic Holiday, damp with occasional showers. the traffic immense in the evening a continual stream 45 to 60 in five minutes. Willie called at the door. also Alice and {Hugh Sefton?}. | ||
