A Summers here for the Timber Seen Wild Geese Semo got the Horse to Draw Wood

11th Went to Salmon River with 3 Bushels of B Wheat Run over Dencens Child Bought of GA Streeter a pair for Gordon 9 York shillings Tapping my Boots 1 Dollar American Money Brought the candlemoles to Mr Harper & Letter to Foley A Letter to J Hopkins From Mr Phillips Bought of Mr Harper syrup 3/9 Heard Dan was to be at home in a few Days 2 clafs certificate
12th On this Day of the month McMaster first came to the Island stormy cold
13th Drew 2 Loads of Wood Christee here had nothing to eat Gave him some Potatoes and Pease & his Breakfast Tobacco

16th Went as far as Renshaws with Lis she got a Ride acrofs stopt a while with Powell went Down with Charlie forgot his sleigh got the Load of a Half Barrel from him got some Red Pepper Blackbirds came seen 2 Ducks Grey Birds Races in Salmon River
17th Doing Little or nothing
18th Drawing Wood 1 cutter crofsed Summer's Road ice Bad in Salmon River no sleighs crofsing Getting Bad around the Points went up in the Bush for the first time this month so very Deep
