9th Our Marys Birth Day I went to Mr Harpers with 10 Dozen of eggs Bought of Mr Harper 3 1/2 yds of cotton at =/8 per yd 2/4  4 yds Calico at 1/2 4/8 spool of Threat  1 Quart of oil -/10 Treat -/7 1/2  which comes to 8/8 1/2 got a Doz of the eggs a i{llegible} on this Due Harper of 2/10 1/2 & an almanack went to Renshaws stopt at Hamiltons with John as he had some oats in the canoe he got at McLeods Took supper at Hamiltons John Angus came got a Wooden Pipe from Seans got a Tumbler from Summers store

Mr James Cameron Island May 26th 1865

Planted the 40 Hills of corn over again Took up my Traps Tom set out his Line again

27th Drew up the Elm stick Antwine went of Fishing Perch Baited the Line Watering the Garden and corn and some Potatoes The Spartan went Down on the 26th yesterday on her First Trip

28 Sunday Mrs Morris George & Bob here Tom went for his spectacles

29th Royal Oak Day Charlie and Pat up Going to Mr Harpers Treated me The Game men on the Front Jarmy and McLennan Sowed 4 1/2 Bushels of Oats Harrowing Cleaning the Potatoes Planted 61 hills of Cucumbers Mush Melons 31 Water Melons 5 hills, 1 hill of citrons took home 4 peices of Washing. Brought to Wash 2 peices More

30 Henery set his Line stopt all night Towing got some Boards

31st Christie here took away the Glafs Gave him 2 spears 1 EEl spear 3 prungs 1 Fish spear 2 prungs

1st of June Ploughing the Potatoe Ground Below the house
