12th Orangemans Day Went to Salmon River Bought of Norman on credit 1 Bunch of Matches  -/7 1/2  bought David Baker 49 lbs of Flour 7/6  Gave to my account 79 lbs of Oats 3/11 and 3 Dozen {cut off} eggs 1/10 1/2 came home Raining Seen Johny Kenneth & Thomas Munroe

13th Finished hoeing the corn commenced to Mow around the house a Race the Lord Elgin & the Spartan  Spartan Best

14th Mowing the Grove the Passport passed the Emprefs Lashey here 4 Steamers Towing  the Barges a Boat aground at the foot of Francis Island

15 Made 8 coils of hay  {cut off}ing the Barn Door the Traveller Went Down The Salaberry a Pleasure Trip St Swithens Day no rain to Day here

16th Sunday Raining Raft belonging to Mr Thomas Buck here slept in the Barn

17th the Raftmaen of Mr Buck stole away Tippoo the Dog Charlie & Pat here took Down the Double stove in the old house Mary commencing to make a few steps in Walking Mowing some Charlie Brought 100 Turnips to Transplant

18th high high Wind Went with Lashey to his line gathering in the Grove

20th Put in about 24 coils in the Barn  Went to the Raft caught 7 perch & chub on the Raft put in the cows as they come in the Grain

Mowing Broke the snaith Berries Plenty Finished the mowing in the Grove Raftmen here cutting Hand spikes shot a sawbeak

22nd Charlie and Pat here went with them to Summerstown 2 Bushel of Ashes 1/3 to Treat 1 Bar of soap 1/- 3 Dozen of eggs to Mr Harper 1/2 lb Tea and 1 lb candles Treat came home Mr Stickler here Looking at the Timber Went to the Raft and then to Mr Harpers with 80 lbs of Oats not very well turned very sick in the night new Potatoes Plenty

24th Gordon Pat Charlie and I to Wi{cut off} the first time for Gordon to be there Got a Present of Pants from Dan of Tartan yds  Brought 28 lb of Wool and a co{cut off} of Sugar pickled cucumbers Ellen {cut off} 4 presents to Mary Gordon seen the cars and on the RailRoad Bridge for the first time coming Back took Bob Kennedy along with us Charlie and Pat stopt at night Lashey here  Weaned Marry
