12th The Salaberry a Pleasure Trip to Cornwall Gathering and Putting in put 16 coils on the West side and put 10 on the east side 140 coils on the West side now and 32 on the East  side

13th a change in the Moon Bob skidadled of Took the Basket and cherries, eat some new corn today a Boat around that stole Bob away

15th Livinia Gordon and Mary went to Dundee to see their Grandmother John nine came for A Summers Sand with a Scow Showed him the sand commenced cutting the Pease made 9 coils of Hay above the Lane this is an awful warm Day Lightning to night Blackbirds commenced the corn Lent them my spade and Hammer & Basin

16th Got 2 Loaves of Bread from them for Potatoes Got 4 EEls of an Indian for Potatoes Gave him stuff to make Paddles & axe helve Livinia came home

17th cutting Hay cut the Wheat as the Hens and Birds Finished it all Pat came went acrofs John Brought 4 Loaves 1/3 I Paid this and the Tumbler 5 cents Bought spools 3 -/3 went on Board the Raft coming Back

Mr James Cameron Island July

Sunday Went to Christees A Summers here for his horse Gordon I and Bob on Christee Na-houtas or cachin-tota & Alexis's Islands Went to the Bush for Berries Livinia Mary Gordon Bob & I got 3 Blank on the Islands

31st Last Day of July Mowing Below the Garden very thin the hay Bob Broke the Point of his scythe Fishing Began to take the Tops up of the Potatoes now it was only Rooting them out here and there Before this a very warm Day choke cherries Turning eat no cucumbers yet

1st of August or Lammas Day {illegible}ing commences put in 17 coils of hay small cucumbers setting Brush heaps on Fire

Marys Birth Day put in 7 coils of hay most awful warm Thunder last ight very big Rolls cutting a Little Bob shot 2 Ducks set some more heaps of Brush on fire

3rd cutting on the Lower Point Went to Mr Harpers Bought 3 pecks of Salt 1/3 paid pens 6 & holder -/3 worth of hooks Paid Bought of A Summers Treat -/6 {cut off} & Senna -/6 spool of Red Thread-/1

4th put in {cut off} coils of hay upper side Gathering Ashes

5th Killed the Ram Gathering & Mowing put in 7 coils on the east side for the First Fishing at night got 3 eels & a catfish

6th Sunday A Fortunate Day Raining East Wind stormy Lightning

7th A Fortunate Day blowing some ON the Pitt Point & Behind the Barn Raining & Blowing hard from the West BlackBirds Birds Bad horses Bad cows Bad wanting to come in Hazelnuts Good choke cherries Good Goos Berries & Black currants Good Butternuts not Good
