April 25. - Sun. - Olive + Sarah McNish were here for dinner. Mama went down with them to Mrs. Beattie's + to Read's Cemetery this p.m. Papa 1 I went to church to-night. There was just 14 present. James Bissell has the pneumonia [bad] the appenticitis but is getting along nicely. Walter [theu] was taken to the asylum this a.m. as he is insane.

They brought the corpse out 8 p.m. Mr Sheridan is the undertaker. Papa + Floyd Bissell stayed there all night. I got a new pair of shoes.
