March, 1926

4 Thursday Clear and very cold. Walter & Wesley Weaver went to Elmira this morning and Vernon came home with him. Walter and Aubrey went to Dick Dousling's sale this afternoon.

5 Friday Fine, clear very cold day. We butchered one pig for ourselves and one for Sam Brunkard today. Earl Miller was here for dinner.

6 Saturday Fair and milder. Raw east wind blowing. Norman Miller visited Vernon this afternoon. Aubrey hitched Grace to the little old sleigh and took the bed he brought from Walter up to Drayton.


7 Sunday Snowing. Walter went to prayer meeting this morning and we all went to church this p.m. and Walter, and Ella went again tonight

8 Monday Fine morning. Very stormy p.m. Walter & Aubrey went to Elmira this morning. and took Vernon down. Ella did her washing.
