June, 1926.

13 Sunday. Very wearm day. We went to church & S. School this afternoon and had the following company. For tea - Mr & Mrs. Peters {meemaw?}, Laura and {??}. Mr & Mrs {Calhoun?} Jefferson, Pay and laces and Mr. {first name last name} of Kitchener

14 Monday. Snuggly and cold. Thunderstorms and heavy rain this afternoon. Walter & Vernom took a fat heifer to Elmina w the wagon.

15 Tuesday. fair day. Walter took a load of chopping to {?} aubrey was {planning?}. Vernum {spelling error?} & Ella did the washing this morning and washed in the garden this pm.

16 Wednesday. Fair day. Walter {?} the {?} this morning Vernom & aubrey were plowing. Ella spent the afternoon with Edna {on new line so new sentence} Walter, Ella & Vernom were at an ice cream party at Earl Miller tonight.
