June, 1926 30 Wednesday Fair. Aubrey was cutting thistles and Vernon and Walter hoed the mangels. Walter, Ella, Marie and little Albert went to Grandpa Krauter's tonight.

July

1 Thursday. Fine day. Walter shipped hugo at Elmira this morning and had his dinner at his fathers. Enoch + {name} Schneider called here tonight. Aubrey was cutting thistles

2 Friday. Lovely warm day. Walter was cultivating corn Charles {last name} and Aaron Scheifele were here for dinner. Our company tonight - Mr. + Mrs. Earl Miller and Mrs. Wesley Miller.
