8 Wednesday. Cloudy and not very cold. The men cleaned the stables this afternoon and threshed the buckwheat at Addison Reists this afternoon. Lincoln Weaver & Walter Adler helped. Walter was here for supper and we played crokinole tonight.

9 Thursday. Cloudy and fair. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira. Vernon was drawing manure. Callers - Norman Farr and Kenneth and I.B. Meyer. Ella baked the animal cookies.

10 Friday. Cloudy & not very cold. We butchered 2 pigs here for Norman Farr and Ezra came Bert was here for dinner & supper. Walter's Dad was here for dinner Israel Shoemaker was here and bought a sow from Walter. Henry Bowman brought two steers Walter bought and bought a cow and calf.
