May 1919

17th Sat. A big rain last night. I was busy, In afternoon we went to bath as Elizabeth needed boots.

18th Sun. Cloudy. cold. We went to church in afternoon. & we went up home in Evening. Elizabeth made her first visit at Sunday school to-day. she stayed after service.

19th Mon. Fine, I washed. Alex fixing fence in A.M. & working on the land in afternoon.

20th Tues. Fine. Alex on the land again. I ironed. Chickens hatching. Alex cam down at noon & couldn't go back on account of the rain.
