May 1919

14th. Wed. Fine. I washed. Alex trying to work on the land in afternoon. Father took his fat cattle to Bath. Alex helped him.

15th Thur. Fine Institute having Wilton Play at Sillsville. we couldn't go as Alex hadn't time. Mr & Mrs Sills over in evening.

16th Fri. Looking like rain. Alex sowed a little.

17th Sat. A big rain last night. I was busy, In afternoon we went to bath as Elizabeth needed boots.

18th Sun. Cloudy. cold. We went to church in afternoon. & we went up home in Evening. Elizabeth made her first visit at Sunday school to-day. she stayed after service.

19th Mon. Fine, I washed. Alex fixing fence in A.M. & working on the land in afternoon.

20th Tues. Fine. Alex on the land again. I ironed. Chickens hatching. Alex came down at noon & couldn't go back on account of the rain.
