| Thursday 23rd 1903 | We finished sowing Peas & sowed rape Father rolled most of the day John harrowed pea ground & cultivated ground for corn. I went to town for Lucerne seed. got 15 lbs at $900 per bu. $2.25 np |

| Friday 24th Dull | We sowed Lucerne patch and Plowed Patch for Corn. John fixed fence around pasture in afternoon and I went to G.T.R. for Iron Beadstead & matress from Andrew. paid Freight |

| Saturday. 25th fine | Jno harrowed root ground in morning and hauled 4 loads manure in Afternoon. I fixed gates and went to town in morning and bgt seeds $250, stuff for house .38, seeds 17c & recd pd for lucerne @ 2 Thops |
