| Thursday 30th July 1903 fair | We had quite a shower last night and could not work at wheat to-day so John scufled & Father, Geo & I hoed Turnips all day. | ||
| Friday 31st fine | We started about 9 am & hauled 11 loads wheat & hoed turnips till 9 a.m. | ||
| Saturday 1st Aug 1903 fine | Jn went to Bye's Thrashing & Father Geo & I hauled wheat 7 1/2 hauled 7 loads & 1 load rakings 3 loads barley Mary & Children went to Picnic | ||
| Sunday 2nd fine | Father Mary & I went to Church. Children & I to S.S. Mother & I in evening heard Dr Willoughby both times. | ||
| Monday 3rd fine | We finished hauling barley 5 loads Jn scuffled turnips & Father & Geo hoed. | ||
| Tuesday 4th wet | We {?} and put dip on lambs and Jn. went to Harvey's Thrashing in afternoon, we weaned lambs today. | ||
| Wensday 5th fair but dull | Jn plowed in morning Geo hoed turnips all day & Chored Father & I went to town bgt shoes $300 & ordered a pair for myself pd Goldies ac. $19.35
pd. for Gro at Scroggies $114 paid $125 to Norwalk Ohio ordered 1/2 ton bran & 10 bu Corn |
