We did chores and fixed bins to put dip to carbolic acid on cattle Acid for ring worm & dip as a preventative for spreading. Witch of Mote, in heat today bred Bromaus no 1 to p of B

Thursday 31st We worked at Chores & went for beef. Mr Mc Crae Came in Afternoon and we had quite a chat. I gave him one dollar to help a poor man out where he is Bred E.P. Bell to P of B
Friday Jan 1st 1904 fair We did chores. and at noon I took Mother Jennie & Mary.E. up to Tom's for dinner Willie Mountain came this Afternoon.
Saturday 2nd Cold E.W. W. Mountain Geo & I went to town as soon as chores were done. We got Geo a boarding place at Whittacker's & got his name put in for the Short course, at the College I pd Morris' Account $51.25, paid Penfolds.$25.00 $2500 $5125
Sunday 3rd Cold & Clear Mother, Jennie & I went to Church in morning & Children & I to S.. col. 30. & 5 .35

Monday, 4th very Cold Thermometer about 30 below zero. Father & I went to vote. voted for Crane, Dawson & Henderson, then sent $155 to C.H. Dana, for J.J. Belle in Afternoon I went for Grist, did not get wheat,
