Monday Jan 18th 1904 Cold & Clear Father & I did Chores in morning and I took Princess out to Judging Class in Afternoon she was place third to Mr Sorbys two
Tuesday 19th fair & cold Father & I did chores all day.
Wensday 20th Soft Father & I worked at Chores I went to mill in afternoon I got grist & took 15 bgs 12 bgs oats, 3 wheat.
Thursday 21st Storm from East Charles Smifield came last night sent here by the Department o Colonization Toronto. i have hired him for a month at $800 and he started work today at noon. And made a fairly good start. We went to town for his box, I bgt Flour $210 Bran 60c I went to W.R. Stewart's funeral, of Fort McLeod, Alberta. he Died of Heart Failure at St Thomas

Friday, 22nd Soft, a great amount of sleet last night Trains all delayed. I went to Toronto to Exhibition meeting To Committee meeting. There were some important changes made Beef hers are now all graded hers cow 4 yrs & over is thrown out, & calf herd added.
Saturday 23rd fair Charlie & Father Chored all day. I went to Town in Afternoon. I took 14 bgs to Chop at Mill, & got grist I took on wensday. pd ac $170 1.70
