 <td>We celebrated Father & Mother's fiftieth Anniversary of their wedding. Jennie, Will, Tom and I made them a present of a pair of Gold Spectacles for Father and a gold ring for Mother. And Uncle Robt gave them each $500 Bessie Mountain sent A Worked Pillow to Mary. We had Mr Burgess out to Photograph the group.</td>

 <td>C hauled 9 loads manure I chored & took Aunt M. to Station in morning saw Bessie Mountain on her Way to St Marys Also saw Mr<s>u</s> D Reed & the Miss Dickenson's in Afternoon

I went to Town & also to mill pd for Chopping 70c took 15 bgs mixed B & O paper 02</td>
