Hired John Heney for the week at $100 per day.

Tuesday 28th fine C & J. Heney hoed mangels and I scuffled. ect. Father Plowed rye ground
Wensday 29th Showers in Eve In morning C & I finished hoeing mangels first time and I took a load of wheat to Hewer's in Afternoon $4560 I paod. Pd Hewer's Ac. 42.77 Thursday 30th Showers pd for Chopping at mill 50c Bug death. 50c duster 20c 4560 42.77 .50 .50 .25
Thursday 30th Showery Peter Donald came from Emigration Office Toronto last night I got his things today and he started work at noon. I raised drills from rape in Afternoon and C. Hauled manure on rye patch.
9 Friday 1st July 1904 Showery C hauled manure to no 1 and Peter thinned carrots I raised Rape drills and sowed some rape. Took Father and Mother to Station. They are taking a holiday until Monday at Hamilton & Glanford. I got Rape seed 75c .75
Saturday 2nd fine In Morning C hauled manure to no 1. Peter Scuffled corn and mangels and finished thinning Carrots in afternoon and scuffled some. I sowed rape, & Took Children up to see barn to Toms, then came home bgt Groceries. 30c .30
