July 1904

Sunday. 3rd fine Father & I went to Church in morning .. & Children & I in Afternoon & S.S. Col. 30.07.10. .30 .10 .07.
X Monday 4th Showery We finished sowing rape behind bush Peter scuffling mangels & hoeing Charlie took Princess to Sorbys in morning she took horse Elator & went to mill in afternoon brought home corn chop and took 180 lbs Barley and Rye. Mother got home. Bessie Mountain Called today
Tuesday 5th fine We started to cut hat today cut about 31/2 acres & kiled it in evening. Father, P & C hoeing mangels till about teatime.
Wensday 6th Wet We hoed mangels in morning and fixed things around barn, then hoed in afternoon. I also went to see about getting Slings fixed.
Thursday 7th fine We hoed & scuffled roots most of day. Started to hoe Turnips. Went to mill in Evening got 750 lbs Chop at 105 Per 100 N.P. got grist of Chop. 70c Mr Wigile Came & fixed slings I got rope from him. $782 46 lbs at 17c 7.82
5 x Friday 8th fine We hoed turnips and mowed some hay in morning and hauled 5 loads in afternoon G.D. Hood had Hereford cow to E.P. Master
1 Saturday 9th Showery We hauled 1 load of hay in morning & kiled up most of what we had cut.
