Monday Aug 1st fair {entry blank}
Tuesday Aug 2nd Showery We finished hauling hat rakings and started at wheat were stopped by rain. Went to hoe till teatime & then I went to Mill bgt 1500 lbs Chop. at $2100 per ton pd. on Account. $20 recd an Order from J.J. Bell for $100 for a Bull.
6 Wensday 3rd We put P. Green on potatoes & hoed roots & scuffled in morning & hauled 6 lds wheat in Afternoon
9 Thursday 4th We hauled wheat all day 9 lds
6 Friday 5th fine We hauled 6 loads wheat & 2 of barley
Sat 6th We hauled 6 lds wheat of barley finished in evening went to town sent $10 to National Exhibition Toronto, recd from Hewer $12. for wheat bgt goods about $ {?} bgt groc $312 at Scroggies pants for C. $100 12.00 3.12 1.00
Sunday , 7th Showery Father, Mary & Aunt Jane went to Church in morning and Mother Mary E. & I in Evening & Children & I to S.S. Col. 60.10.07 .60 .10 .07
