Aug 1904

Monday th fine Mr Tuck and Williams came today to shingle our house. I got 62 bundles of shingles at Clemens and 75 ft of vallet at OcCombries 6c a ft & got binder fixed at Penfolds. got asbestos paper at Morris 5c lb
Tuesday 9th We worked at Turnips all spare time Tuck & Man at the house roof
Wensday 10th dull We Worked at Turnips and Chored around house. Carpenters at work
Thursday 11th fine We finished Turnips & started to cut oats in orchard. Carpenters at ork. Williams off 1/2 day pd Tuck 500 5.00
Friday 12th Dull We finished cutting orchard & also field by Hammels & started at no. 1 paid C Senfield $1000 10.00
Saturday 13th Showery Carpenters lost a little time with rain. We bound & shocked orchard & cut around no. 1 & worked around barn went to town in evening sent entries of Sheep to St Louis sent Entry of Calf to Toronto 50c bgt Groceries $2.80c .50
Sunday 14th fine Father Mary & Aunt Jane Went to Church in morning & Mother & I in Evening Children & I to S.S. Col. 10.35.07 .10 .35 .07
