Monday 15th Aug 1904 fine We cut oats in no 1 today C went to Sorby's in morning with Queen & Princess they neither were both all right of them were in Heat
s Tuesday Aug 16th Showery Thur We finished cutting no 1 and Chored rest of the day.

I went to town bgt hardware 80c at Penfolds two balls twine np at Penfolds pd for Express order 1000 to Dr J O. Orr. Bgt Butter at Scroggies 2 lb np

Sold Old Pride to A Barber for $4000 to go very soon

Wensday 17th fair We chored & struck out lands in field no 4 for fall wheat then finished cutting oats put away binder & mower, & chored in evening John Rawlings of Forest was here today and has offered me $10 each for a ram and six ewes two or 3 aged ewes 1 or 2 Shearling 2 ewe lambs
Thursday 18th fine I finished striking out lands for fall wheat & we thrashed in afternoon. wheat is turning out about 20 bu per acre & barley over 40. We had Baley's machine 1 haul Each had from McCannel McDougall Barber Mitchell Bye. Harvey & Flick & Friendship


x		 Friday 19th Dull We Cleaned up around barn & hauled five loads oats went to mill with grist & bft 6.55 lbs oat chop bred Grade heifer to E.P. Master 2nd
