Thursday 29th Dec. 1904 fair Cattle passed the test all right. And we put them on car this morning they were very wild. I had breakfast with McDougalls and dinner with Dr Brown left Sarnia about 2 P.M. And arrived home about 6.30 P.M. Car fare .05 pd. livery man 500 for loading and unloading cattle I Shipped E.P. Mikado to James Hazelwood St Marys. .05 5.00
Friday 30th fair We C Chored & cut wood in morning. I got hrs shod 50c and pd blacksmith's bill $1.38. We got Cattle home in Afternoon, And took Young Grade cow up to Shortteels recd 2500 we also recd 2600 from Thos McFarlane. 2500 2600 .50 1.38
Saturday 31st mild Father went to Mount Forest. Ticket 160, Cash 300 Sent a Check for $28000 to Stanley R. Pearce. Creston Ill. $ $130 to R. T. Baker, Greensburg Indiana. Also deposited $7500 for Mother & pd her 40c Intrest I recd $17500 from Jas. Hazelwood St Marys for E.P. Mikado Also $12000 from W.R. Stewart of Sarnia to pay bal on note for "Witch of Mote" bgt Flour $270, Shoes $250 Stamps.10c $7500 17500 $12000 1.65 3.00 2.70 2.50 .10
Sunday. Jan 1st / 05 fine Mary & I went to Church in morning, heard Rev Marshall preach, and I took Children to S.S. col. 30,5 04. .30 .05 .04
