Thursday 29th Dec.1904 fair Cattle passed the test all right. And we put them on car this morning they were very wild. I had breakfast with McDougalls and dinner wtih Dr Brown left Sarnia about 2 P.M. and arrived home abbout 6 30 P.M. Car fare 05 pd livery man 500 for loading and unloading cattle I Shipped E.P. Mikado to James Hazlewood St Marys .05 5.00
Friday 30th fair We C Chored & cut wood in morning. I got bes shod 50 c and pd blacksmith bill. $1. 38. We got cattle home in Afternoon, And took Young Grade cow up to Shortsteels recd 2500 we also recd 2600 from Thos Mc Farlane 2500 2600 .50 1.38
Saturday 31st mild Father went to Mount Forest. Ticket. $165. cash 300 Sent a check for $28000 to Stanley R. Pearce. Creston Ill & $130 to Mr F. Baker. Greensburg Indiana, Also deposited $ 7500 for Mother & pd her 40c Intrest I recd $17500 from. Jas Hazelwood St Marys. for E.P.. Mikado. also $12000 from W. P. Stewart of sarnia I pay bal on note for "Witch of Mote". bgt Flour. $270. Shoes $250 Stamps. 10 c 175.00 $12000 1.65 3.00
