=== Monday 22 nd May 1905 === Jimmie chored and I took E.P. Belle to Market she weighed 1350, at 4 1/2. $60. 75 {/2 on right margin} hardware. 15 c 0 5. 35. gro 12 {15 and 05 and 35 on right margin} {geting?} Angus Constatin Copied 25 c sold. wool. 94 1/2 c/ @ 14 c 13. 23 {25 on right margin} got Skin tanned. 6 00 {6 00 on right margin}

Tuesday 23 rd fine Father cultivated root ground and Jimmie chored I went Chored and went to ^{C?} Hendersons with Eleven cattle to pasture. 3 Cows 3 Calves = 3 to pay for at $1 00 per month and two two year olds and3 Yearlings at $1 per month each Mr John Lowe came this afternoon to see the cattle and went also to Hendersons. then he looked over the stock at home has a notion for two of them but is not fully decided

Victoria day Wensday 24 th fine Father cultivated root grd Jimmie chored & helped me hang two ^wire gates. on west end east end of farm I took E.P. Queen down to {Sorby's?} and tried her but she did not take. we also cleaned up rubbish around barn

Thursday 25 th fine Showery evening I took Queen and Princess to crosshill. to be bred to "Lord Charming". Expenses 50 c/. i had a long dreary {50 on right margin} drive in the dark and got home about 11 P.M. Father and Jimmie chored and sorted potatoes.

Friday 26 th fine we did chores and worked at fence. had J w Mc {Lader?} helping at 25 c per {br?}. & Mr Richards
