 <td>I went to town in morning also arranged with J. Fisk to cut our grain at 55c per acre we supply Twine & one horse <s>went to</s> got hardware at Penfolds 45c got Cap. 10c

Men hauled hay till rain came on then chored sent $500 to Jos Thompson Sardis B.C. pd. Dr Savage $1200 pd Hamilton $1100 for Life Insurance for 3 mos.</td>

 <td>We finished hoeing turnips & Cut around wheat field & I went to town bgt shoes $300 hardware. 40c p. sent $1500 to see McFarlane. <s>recd</s> bgt brushes $175 Foot Elm .25 paid Joe McGrogan $200 last night had W. McLean hoeing Turnips at 7 1/2 c per row.</td>

 <td>Mother Jennie & I went to Church in morning We Enjoyed a very practical sermon from Dr Henderson on Brethern Count it all Joy when ye fall into divers temptations. we all stayed at home the rest of the day</td>
