| Wednesday Aug. 1st. | Johnnie cut alfalfa in morning. Alex & Joe Fisher at turnips until 10 o'clock, then they started to haul in wheat. | ||
| Thursday Aug. 2nd | Hauling fall-wheat all day and finished it. | ||
| Friday Aug. 3rd | Hauling in barley & shocking up oats Mr Hall here from 11-6 Joe Mc " 1/2 day. | ||
| Saturday Aug. 4th. | Joe Mc_ here and worked till 4-15 P.M. All shocking oats. Fisk finished cutting. Paid Joe Mc_ $5 on work done. | ||
| Sunday Aug. 5th. | Aunt Jane, Mary & I to church. Mr Crews preached. |
