Turned a lot of nice furrows when Dan and I plowed with both teams all day. Mr Barker officiated in C.N.R. settlement. Uncle Tom & Cousin Eva came over to spend a few days with us. Had a Keystone Securities man to see me but I didn't bite. Jean & I had a swim at night even if the water was high.

Weather didn't look very promising but Dan and I got the binder ready and got started cutting wheat just before noon. I shocked all the piece and finished right behind the binder. Rather a windy but short thunder shower came up at supper time and U.F.Y.F.O. garden party had to be postponed again. Leishmay's hired man was killed when he fell from beam in haymow.
