May 6th. Saturady, a lovely day. Jody and I {?} over to the farm early with Ginger and {?} Bell & Bobbie then {?} a little in the orchard.

Bill finished trimming the big limbs out for wood.Then he hitched up and {?} out and got the rest of the trees that Herbert had dug up and a couple of pieces for a store boat. Came back and Bill {?} the boat. He did not work the afternoon. Dick came home over to the farm about 11-30 with his dinner. Joby and I came home and {?} with Bill and {?} over Fred's cow and calf. Herbert, Hallie & Lila {?} Herbert set out {?} trees and the other went to the woods for flowers. Joby and I hauled a lot of the limbs from the orchard to the house. Sunday 7th Lovely day. Went to church. Was over at the farm before breakfast to do chores, the boys went to Sunday school and we all went to church. After dinner {?} and I drove over to the farm then out to Jim {Thaddle} and home by the cemerary. went to church again in the evening. Wrote a short letter to {?} and we all went to bed as early {?}
