Mon Feb 20. Very cold and windy. blowing snow. but not much to blow.

Tue Feb 21. Fine bright and cold. mean zero. I was at Mrs Smellie for tea. Mrs D. and children at Picnic od "Uncle Tom's Cabin" "Girls Club" social eve at L.B.

Wed Feb 22. Fair and milder. I called to see Mr Welsh and at Mrs{Abby's?}. in the afternoon. "Ash Wednesday."

Thur Feb 23. Mild and thawing the light snow that came in the night. turning much colder at night.

Fri Feb 24. Fine bright and {illegible} cold, a perfect day. in Toronto at S.Hepp Annie here at night.

Sat Feb 25. Fine and very cold wind coldest of the snow. 8 or 10 below out here. We were at Mrs Johns "
