Wed Aug 14. Rained heavily in the afternoon and then another thunder shower about six. Lizzie came out she and girls also Annie here for tea. George Findlay died.

Thur Aug 15. Fine and quite cold and windy. I went to Toronto lunch and at H. Mrs Davidson had girls Party for Lorraine. I went in for tea. Mrs McDonald and I called at Mr Findlay's in eve.

Fri Aug 16. Fine bright and cool a perfect day. I was invited to Mrs DeLaportes for lunch. George Findley buried. Mrs D and I at cemetry in eve.

Sat Aug 17. Fair and much warmer to a Pic-nic with Boyles to J. {Reamans?} bush, and for a little drive after.

Sun Aug 18. A thunder storm at 1 and 3 A.M. not so much rain. I went to morning Curch. Lizzie went home in evening. At evening Church.

Mon Aug 19. Fine bright and quite cool. I took girls and Annie and took lunch in field.

Tue Aug 20. Fine bright and quite cool. a perfect day. I have a cold in head.

Wed Aug 21. Fine and warmer. Lawn mower sharpened 10 cents.

Thur Aug 22. Fine and moderately warm.

Fri Aug 23. Fine and quite warm. Annie and I went to Lizzies, called to say good-bye to Miss Barker.

Sat Aug 24. Fine and very warm, went for a drive in the afternoon and evening.

Sun Aug 25. Fine and very warm, went to church with Lizzie and girls, in the afternoon Wylie took us to Elm Park. had tea there and home by Weston. accident out here on this road.

Mon Aug 26. Fine and very warm and sultry. For a drive in the morning and down town shopping in the afternoon. out driving W. making calls all evening.
