Tue Aug 27. Fine but dull and very cool nice for "Ex" childrens day. We all went in the afternoon and home 8.00.
Wed Aug 28. Dull and cool. I came home in afternoon. Mrs David children came home too were at Ex- yesterday. went for a drive with Mr and Mrs Francis to Dau Reamaus. honey 50 cents.
Thur Aug 29. Fair and cool. I cut grass. washed Verandahs etc. went for corn and vegetables to Mr Wiltshire's.
Fri Aug 30. Fine and bright. I aired pillows, quilts etc. all but big box. Annie came home, day of swim.
Sat Aug 31. Fine and much warmer. picked two baskets pears.
Sun Sept 1. Fine and very, very warm. at morning church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk in the evening.
Mon Sept 2. "Labor Day" very, very, warm, about "ninety degrees"
Tue Sept 3. Very, very warm I was at Ex. had dinner in Toronto met {S?} left Ex at 9. P.M. started the nine day Pickles.
Wed Sept 4. Fine and very warm.
Thur Sept 15. Fine and very warm. Mrs Davidson and I left for Ex about 10. and home about 9. PM.
Fri Sept 16. Fine and a little cooler. I called at Mrs Nobles in evening.
Sat Sept 17. Fine but dull and moderately warm. picked last of pears. Annie and I at Ex to cu closing with the Boyle girls left at 6.30 and home 12.30. pleasant evening. no rain during Ex. last rain Aug 18th getting burnt up.
Sun Sept 18. Fine and moderately warm. at morning church. Mr Noble back. at evening church.
