Sun Oct 20. A perfect day and quite warm. "United Church" reopening I was at morning church "Childrens Service" for a walk after dinner to see remaings of fire loss. At church at the United Church in the evening.
Mon Oct 21. Fine and quite warm. I raked and burnt leaves. put on Double door. Cannot get window on as Mr D. lame back.
Tue Oct 22. Terrific East storm, drifiting and blowing all day. came in East window badly had to get Annie for the night. first heavy rain since 14 Aug to do any good.
Wed Oct 23. Dull and showery most of day. Nelson Smellie took clock to Richmond Hill. I cleaned up after rain put curtains up, went to Toronto (north) for celery 785 cents. Furnace to dry up not needed for cold.
Thur Oct 24. Dull and light showers most of day. our Supper Concert and Bazaar $160 - supper and concert.
Fri Oct 25. Fine and clearing. W. Riddell looking at E. window. stiff knees.
Sat Oct 26. Fine and not so cold. raked and burnt some leaves not very dry but all maples up. also our Apple leaves.
Sun Oct 27. Fine bright and colder, strong winds. Florence James called for towels 85 cents. I was at morning church and eve church.
Mon Oct 28. Fine I raked and burnt some leaves. finished covering cistern, at Dr with knee electric $1.50.
Tue Oct 29. Cold East wind. Mr Susan putting roof and flashing East window $13.50. Mr Passmore called. Mr S. put in double window.
Wed Oct 30. Dull and showery. Election day. Ferguson {Con-gor?} returned with large majority. at Dr. 1.50 for Electric.
