1 Saturday. Fine and very cold. We had New Year's dinner here and the following company - Mr & Mrs Sim. Weaver, Mr. & Mrs Lincoln Weaver, Willard, Mildred, Doris and Howard and Aubrey Lawson. Walter took Mr. Bergman's meat to Floradale this morning.

2 Sunday. Changeable weather We drove to church & S. School with Enoch's in the sleigh.

3 Monday. Fair and not very cold. Ella did the washing and Vernon was drawing manure. Walter went to Floradale to vote. The old council were elected namely - Alex Forbes reeve, N Snider d. reeve, W Veitch, Almon Snider and Tom Hemmerich councillors. Callers here today were - Jno. Stange, Addison Reist, Noah Miller, Esther and Ruth Miller.
