8 Saturday. Ideal winter's day. Clear and cold. Lincoln Edler brought a cow Walter bought from him and he and his father were here for dinner. Other callers - Clarence & Lloyd Farncombe, Andrew and Norman Henderson, Norman and Laura Miller and Aubrey Lawson.
9 Sunday. Fair and cold east wind blowing. We went to Woolwich church and S. School this afternoon and to Earl Miller's for tea.
10 Monday. Lovely morning Started to snow this afternoon. Walter went to Elmira Monthly Fair today and when he returned he went over to Otto Miller's and skinned a horse that died last night, also went up to Henderson's. Wesley Witzel called this afternoon. Sam Weber died suddenly today. Louis {Ludwig} Schmermund was buried yesterday.
