January, 1927.

22 Saturday. Colder. The men did the stable work this morning and Walter was gadding this afternoon. Callers - Louis Miller Laura and Norman Miller.

23 Sunday. Fair and cold. Snowflurries. Walter & Vernon went to church & S. School this afternoon Ella felt sick so she stayed home.

24 Monday. Somewhat changeable. Walter butchered 1 pig for Geo. Schneider's at Enoch's and killed 2 for Enoch's and cut them up. Vernon was drawing manure this afternoon. Charles Miller was our caller.

25 Tuesday. Fair and cold. Walter made Enoch Schneider's sausage this forenoon and he and Enoch went to Ed. Morris's sale on the Clayton Stewart farm. Walter brought three head of cattle.
