March, 1927.

1 Tuesday. Clear and cold. We were busy butchering here today one big sow for Quincy Whale, one pig for Wm. Cullum and made summer sausage for Roy Norris. Ezra Maurer was here all day and helped. Lincoln brought Grandma here this afternoon.

2 Wednesday. Cold and windy. We had a quilting here today and the following ladies were here - Mrs. George Schneider, Mrs. C. Wagner, Mrs. Chas. Koepke, Mrs. Sim Weaver, Mrs. Lincoln Weaver, Doris and Howard. Mrs. Geo. Maurer, Mrs. Philip Bonn, Mrs. Ben Miller, Mrs. Earl Miller, Mrs. N. Hoffer, Mrs. Louis Miller and Grandma Krauter. Quincy Whale and Roy Norris called for their sausage, etc.
