April, 1927.

9 Saturday. Cold east wind. The men put a new piece of fence between the lawn & raspberry patch

10 Sunday. Cold & windy. We went to Woolwich church & S.S. this morning. Our company for dinner were - Mr. & Mrs. Lincoln Weaver Mildred, Doris and Howard. Walter Adler and Cornelius Klassen were here for supper. Vernon & Ella went to practice tonight.

11 Monday. Beautiful spring day. Walter went to Elmira Monthly Fair today and took 25 dozen eggs down to Sieling's to hatch. Ella did her washing this morning. This p.m. she boiled soap, cleaned the yard. Vernon helped to clean up the garden and had a bonfire

12 Tuesday. Cloudy. Emerson came up this morning and Ella went down to Grandpa's for the day to help paper the parlor Rachel, Edna, Mildred, Doris & Howard went too. The men worked at the garden fence and pulled out the {currant bushes?}.
