April, 1927.

22 Friday. Cloudy & cold. Snowflurries. Vernon went down to Schwindt's for some lilac bushes this morning and got some spruce seedlings at Earl's and we planted them and a Balm of Gilead this afternoon. Vernon was cultivating this p.m. Walter was cleaning seed grain. Noah Miller visited him this morning.

23 Saturday. Cold & windy. Vernon was cultivating all day. Walter was spreading Manure.

24 Sunday. Cold & cloudy. Snowflurries. Walter Ella & Vernon went to S. School this morning and as Mr. Bean was away to Conference at Sebringville we had prayer-meeting instead of preaching service. This afternoon we went up to Grandpa Krauter's and stayed for tea

25 Monday. Cold & windy. We cleaned the store room today. The men started tearing down Mogk's house today. Wesley & Esther called tonight.
