May, 1927

9 Monday. Thunderstorm and heavy rain this forenoon. Very sultry this p.m. Walter went to Elmira this afternoon. Laura & Norman Miller spent the evening here. Other callers - Noah Miller, Sam Umbach and H. Hednich.

10 Tuesday. Rain this morning Very windy this p.m. Walter, Ella & Vernon went to Kitchener this p.m. and did some shopping.

11 Wednesday. Rain this morning Cool, dreary and windy. Ella did her washing & ironing. Walter finished seeding - sowed about 3 acres of barley.

12 Thursday. Cloudy & cool. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira and stayed all day. He had his dinner ar Milton Eix's. Ella cleaned the cellar today.

13 Friday. Fair and warmer. The men were making fence today.
