May, 1927.

21 Saturday. Cloudy & cold. The men got the frame ready for the garage and Grandpa went home this afternoon. Ella finished cleaning her dining room. Callers - Otto Miller & Addison Reist. Vernon was cultivating.

22 Sunday. Very warm day. We went to church & S. School this morning and over to Milton Eix's for dinner and supper. Our company tonight - Mr. & Mrs. Ezra Maurer, Miriam Maurer & Wilfrid Underwood

23 Monday. Rained last night and rained all day. Miserable weather Walter was gadding all day, had his dinner at Koepke's and supper at Sim Weaver's. Ella did her washing this morning and canned rhubarb this afternoon.

24 Tuesday. Miserable drizzly day. We were at a wiener supper and ice cream feed at Israel Shoemaker's tonight and had a very good time.
